If there’s one thing I love about the Chen Asian supermarket in Prior Velho, it’s that I never leave with just what I went in to buy—I always end up with something unexpected. And this time, the surprise was these Korean-Style Corn Dogs from Bibigo.
I’d already written a post about shopping at Chen, but this deserves its own spotlight because… oh my gosh. This is the perfect snack for lazy days, late-afternoon snacks, binge-watching nights, or simply when you want something different without making a mess of the whole kitchen.
They’re crispy on the outside, have that juicy sausage inside, and are ready in minutes—literally. In the air fryer, 10 minutes. In the microwave, 1:40. And yes, there are three in the package, which is both a blessing and a danger.
Once they’re done, all they need is a dab of mayonnaise, ketchup, or your favorite sauce. And there you have it: homemade Korean street food.
If you go to Chen’s Supermarket, give them a try. But I’m warning you now: it’s one of those things we buy “just to try”… and then we go back there on purpose to buy them again.
Everyone here at home loved them and gave them a thumbs-up.
